The Fellowship Bible Church in Hillsong, California is a fellowship Bible church that provides support for people in the homeless community.
It was founded by pastor Matt Darnell and former pastor, Matt Bell, who was the church’s pastor before leaving for the Episcopal Church in 2017.
The Fellowship Church in North Carolina opened in the early 2000s in the state, and was the first church to serve a homeless population in the country.
The church is now in the process of relocating to Hillsong.
The congregation was founded on the idea that the Bible is the “living word” of Jesus, and that it’s important for people to understand that God has given the Bible to us, and we should take advantage of it, the church said in a press release.
The church has recently opened a second location in North Raleigh, North Carolina, and is considering a third.
The new location will serve a wider area of the city, with more seating, more worship, and an open space for congregants to meet and pray, the press release said.
Darnell said that the fellowship Bible was born out of necessity.
While many congregations offer fellowship and support to the homeless, Darnes said, “The Fellowship Bible’s goal is to bring those who have no place in the world to our fellowship.
It’s a sanctuary where we can come together and heal from our issues together.”
